Jeltje Boonstra was born on 14 Jan 1853 in Niezijl, Groningen, Nederland as daughter of Egbert Fokkes Boonstra and Elsina de Wind.[1]

Jeltje married Karst Dijkstra (1845 - 1927) on 13 May 1876 in Grijpskerk.[2]
Together they had at least 9 children:
