Margaret le Despenser was born circa 1366 at of Glamorgan & Morgannwg, Wales, England.5 She married Sir Robert Ferrers, 5th Baron Chartley, son of Sir John de Ferrers, 4th Baron Chartley and Elizabeth de Stafford, after 13 January 1379; They had 3 sons (Sir Edmund; Thomas, Esq; & Edward) and 1 daughter (Philippe, wife of Sir Thomas Greene).2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 A contract for the marriage of Margaret le Despenser and Sir Robert Ferrers, 5th Baron Chartley was signed on 14 July 1389.8 Margaret le Despenser died on 3 November 1415; Buried at Merevale Abbey, Warwickshire.3,5,8
