Marie was born in 1888. She was the daughter of Otto Doornbos and Anna de Vries [1]
Maria stayed in Dennenoord (mental hospital) from 1911-01-02 untill 1912-05-03. [2]. One month later (1912-06-19) She emigrated to the United States (destination Chicago). Ship name: Ryndam. [3]
She passed away in 1937. [4]

The story my mom told was that her mom, Marie, was scheduled to come to America on the Titanic with her sister, "Auntie Em." But they were late to the dock and missed the boat!
