Biography
Willem Houwink was born on 21 July 1845 in Oude Pekela, Groningen, Nederland, son of Okke Derks Houwink (1801–1860) and Aaltje Harms Kok (1808–1850).[1]
Willem (29) and Catharina Margaretha van der Meer (24) were married on 3 December 1874 in Harlingen, Friesland.[2] Catharina was born on 19 November 1850 in Harlingen, Friesland. She was the daughter of Willem Willems van der Meer and Fokeltje Eeltjes Tichelaar. Their children were:
