Biography

E. Harley Perkins was a New Hampshirite.

When Harley Perkins was born on August 5, 1918, in Cornish, New Hampshire, his father, Ellsworth, was 29 and his mother, Myrtle, was 21.^[1][2]

In 1930, he was residing at the home farm in Cornish, New Hampshire. ^[3] After attending Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, New Hampshire, he became an auto mechanic. On June 15, 1942, He married Christina Lois Murray at Cornish, New Hampshire.^[4] They had four children during their marriage, Clyde Perkins, Thomas Perkins, and twin boys that died a few days after birth. He retired around 1970 consequent to osteoarthritis of the spine.^[5]

He died on March 25, 1989, in Windsor, Vermont at the age of 70.^[6] After cremation, he was buried at Child Cemetery in Cornish, New Hampshire.^[7]
