Peter werd geboren in 1801 en kort daarop gedoopt in de RK kerk te wijchen, Gelderland, Nederland op 2 december 1801 als zoon van Gerhardus Peters-Sengers en Anna Maria van den Berg[1]

Jeugd
Peter komt uit een familie van schoenmakers te wijchen maar belandt uiteindelijk in Middelaar. Het vermoeden is dat dit komt door de loting voor de schutterij tijdens de Belgische onafhankelijkheidsoorlog cq opstand. Dat was wel verplicht in Gelderland maar niet in Limburg en Brabant (en Limburg was Belgisch gebied.)
Huwelijk
Hij trouwt op 1837 met Louisa van Uum, dochter van de molenaar te Plasmolen. Hij is dan 35 jaar oud.Het huwelijk vindt plaats in Mook en Middelaar, Limburg, in het tegenwoordige Nederland[2]

Petrus was born in 1801 as son of Gerhardus Peters-Sengers and Anna Maria van den Berg. He was baptizied in Wijchen on 2 dec 1801.[1]

Young Life
Probably because of the independance war of Belgium (1830-1839) he fled Wijchen to avoid service in the "Schutterij" like most young single man of his age did in that town. He went to Limburg which was part of Belgium during that period.
Marriages
He married in 1837 Louisa van Uum age 35 in Mook/Middelaar. Cite error 2; Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no content must have a name
They had the following children:
- Gertruida (25 feb 1838 - 18 aug 1840)
- Gerardus (21 aug 1842)
- Gertruda (4 mei 1845)
- Theodorus (28 aug 1848)
- Franciscus (27 sep 1850)
- Antoon (6 apr 1853 - 26 dec 1853)
After her death he married again in 1854 to Arnoldina Meussen at the age of 53.[3]
They had the following children:
- Anna Maria (1855-1864)
- Joannes (1857-1874)
- Maria (1859-1935)
- Anna Louisa Agatha (1861-1893]]
- Cornelia (1863-1824)
- Anna Maria (1868-1868)
Death
He passed away in 1874 at age 73. [4]
