Wilhelm was born in 1833. He married in 1862, his wife's first name was Dorothea. They emigrated to the United States, settling in Indiana, where they appear in the 1870 census. He passed away in 1917 and was buried at Friedensau Cemetery in Hebron, Nebraska.[1]
