Linley M.Stafford personal items found

Question

I bought a trunk recently and it has the name of Linley M. Stafford on it.It is a military trunk and is full of old pictures,letters,baby books,marriage records.I hate to destroy pictures,especially the one that are so old.I am hoping someone can  claim this treasure of a mans life and his family's records.

There is a Linley  M. Stafford Born Indiana,Lived in Kentucky,joined service in

Ohio. When joining he was single. He was 5ft 6" tall,weighed 133 lbs.

Where did you buy the trunk.What did people say you bought it from?

I think it is the same person.He wrote a book,he was in the military.The trunk was in a house that was being cleaned out and the guys doing the work,knew nothing of this man.It has old family pictures that someone will love to see again.Thanks for the info.

That is my trunk it has family photos and I think a dress. Please contact me. My father was in the army twice. I used to live in Berea. When you can please email me and I will give you more information.
