Here's where my line started to the best of my knowledge.There are several Daniel lines that migrated from England to the Colonies but don't know of any that migrated to Australia.

On 24 October 1645, a Roger Daniell was recorded in York County, VA as a creditor of John Seaton.
In 1650, Thomas Daniel, son and heir of Roger Daniel of London, Gent. Entered the famous English Law School of Gray’s Inn.(where?).Roger Daniell, Sr and Roger Daniell, Jr, arrived in Virginia in 1654 per “Cavaliers and Pioneers” by Nugent.
