Ernest S. Pugh was born 1 Feb 1909, Ritchie Co., West Virginia. His father was John A. Pugh and his mother Vada Mae Longwell. He was in World War 2. He died on 11 November 1953, at St. Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, of an acute coronary occlusion and was to be buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Ernest Strosey Pugh married Pearlie Frances Stringer in Wood County, West Virginia, on 14 August 1937. The ceremony was performed by L.K. Mohoney of the "U.B. Church" of Parkersburg. Ernest's parents were John and Vada Pugh.
