I am looking for verification of a connection between Cyrenus Palmer (b. 1800, in NY, then in Yonge Ontario 1820 census and moving to Edon, Williams Co. Ohio from Ontario with six children after the death of his first wife (Caroline Murray or Conley) - and Cyrenus Palmer (b.1776 d. 1850), married to Lovina Burch Palmer. One child, a daughter Waity and other children? Cyrenus I lived in Oswego and Otsego Counties (Hastings )in NY, (appears to have lived in NY all his life) died and is buried there. Several people have made assumptions that our Palmer line goes through Elias Palmer, Nine Partners NYfrom Cyrenus (1800), Cyrenus (1776) but there is no solid proof of this that I am aware of. Does anyone have any information that connects the two. Cyrus, Syrenus, Cyrenius, Syrenes, multiple spellings of the first name. Also, how to indicate on a profile that caution should be used in with a profile, I there is uncertainty about a relationship.
