my grandfather was louis james hughes and had a brother edward and two sisters sarah named after her mother and i do not know for sure the other sisters name. my granfather mentioned on many occasions that his parents were candy makers and owned a shop in london ,where the shop was on the street level and the family lived upstaires. He also mentioned they were confectioners to the queen. he served in the army and migrated to the U.S.after ww I where he met my grandmother.  Eddie and his wife Ruth visited with us in Gulfport, Ms. in 1969; Ruth played the piano and told us she had worked at a pub in london during and after wwII. If any of this sounds familiar to what you may know, please let me know.
