New Projects?

Question

Wanted to know if we could start a project for Olympic Athletes.. I started a page for my cousin, Shannon Miller who is the tenth highest decorated gymnist.

Plus, two of my cousins are famous in the Hunting world so wanted to see if maybe we could do Famous Hunters or something of that effect.

So not sure if maybe there is a Project already out there or not for these but would be great.

I remember very well watching Shannon compete and rooting for her.  She was (and I'm sure still is) really something.  That's very cool that you are close to her.

I think they would fall nicely into Notables, Charlotte. And yes, very important would be to get them categorized, most likely under their Famous People area. We use Wikipedia as a guide for whether someone is Notable, but Wikipedia doesn't have everyone notable up yet, so if you think someone should be noted, just let me know and we can see what we can do.

Under Shannon Miller's I did (from searching through G2G feeds) add Categories for the 1992 & 1996 Olympics.. what would the tags be for Notables or Famous People?

Perfect, Charlotte. You can put {{Notables}} on her profile, and if you let me or one of the other Leaders of the that project know the profile number when you add or work on those notables, we can "lock" it for Project Protected Status.
