why is my grandmothers profile McCord-156 is locked

Found my grandmothers profile here.she raised me and there is serious facts wrong.so i tried to adopt it.wouldn't let me.keeps saying bessie mae mccord is not an active user..actually it wont let me touch any of it,but i adopted the rest of her family since they are all deceased.

This is most likely a result of a profile manager closing their account and this profile, even though older than 100 years old, has the privacy set to yellow.

Send a message to info@wikitree.com and someone will most likely quickly resolve this problem for you.

Hi James,

I've opened it up for you, so you should be okay to adopt it now. If you come across any other profiles without managers that you would like to adopt, the best thing to do is to contact WikiTree's info mailbox to ask to be added to the trusted list.
