Question

James Willis Horton born Union KY Feb 25 1872 to James F Horton (1838) & showing America Sevier, not sure if this is correct information. I was told, through family, the possible to have Native American & was Irish. Though the line looks to be English on his father side.

Found copy marriage record,here is what it looks like,James F. Horton marries

Merica Severs. She was 14 he was 23.looks like married 1869,but scfrbbling back

then hard to read.

Don't know if any of this helps.  From findagrave looks like James remarried to Mary Jane Richey/Ritchey.  Didn't find any 1880 census for this family.  James  Sr. died 1899.
