George Bogart b:12 Mar 1803 d:5 Jan 1892

Question

I am working on Bogart my grandmother's side of the family. I am new to WikiTree and would greatly appreciate any help. His headstone says B: 12 Mar 1803 and D:5 Jan 1892; he would be my 3rd great grandfather on my grandmother's side.

I think I found him on Find-A-Grave, at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=27824642 -- buried in Montcalm County, Michigan.

There's an 1880 Census record from Montcalm County for a George Bogart, age 72, with wife Elisabeth, age 50, and 4-year-old grandson Henry Nelson. George was a farmer, born in Ohio; his father was born in Michigan and his mother in Pennsylvania. Elisabeth was born in Pennsylvania; the birthplaces of her parents were not known.

I also found an 1860 Census record from New York City that lists a George Bogart, age 57, and wife Phebe or Pheba, age 55. He was a printer, born in the state of New York. Also in the house are a son William age 16 (occupation given as cooper) and daughter Sarah age 14. Is this your George?

He is listed as adopted Feb 17 1808,Possible father Ezekial Bogart , Mother
