Marie Guilbeau as mother of Pierre Landry?

Question

Recent changes and merges have the mother of Landry-1036, born 1732, as Marie Josephe Guilbeau, who died in 1721.  I do not have any research notes for Marie, as one of the merged profiles was orphaned then adopted by me, and I wanted to discuss this with the other profile managers involved before making any changes.

This is from Landry Family Tree ,Ancestry.Com.It has dates and places ,and you

can verify these are correct.

Marie Josephe Guilbeau born 1682,Port Royal,Acadia ,Nova Scotia,Died 1721

Grande Pre,Nova Scotia,Married Abraham Landry Oct 1 1701.

Usually I check Nos Origines when Acadian families get mixed up, but this Pierre Landry doesn't seem to be on there. However, WeRelate has an entry for him, and they have his parents as Pierre Landry and Marie Anne Doucet. That would certainly make more sense than the currently attached parents.

I don't have any experience researching the families that went to Louisiana. It would help if someone who does have that experience could check the relevant records on this person.

Pierre Landry (Landry-1036) bn 1732 died Jun 1815, married 1st Anne Elisabeth Dupuis c 1755. He then married a Marie Josephe Landry 7 NOV 1767. According to the record for his 2nd marriage (Pierre LANDRY, son of Pierre LANDRY & Marie DOUCET of Piziquid, Acadia, married 7 Nov 1767 to Marie LANDRY, daughter of Paul LANDRY & Marguerite BOURG of Piziquid, Acadia. "This entry is a marriage contract executed before Louis JUDICE, commandant of the Acadians, at Kabahanosse " (Ascension Parish Courthouse, Book Q-717).
