What to do when you can't adopt a profile

Question

Someone else created a profile for my grandmother, but they are no longer the profile manager.

It says...

Chambers-500 — No Profile Manager [adopt this profile]

But when I click 'adopt this profile'  it says 'The profile is not public so it cannot be adopted.'

When I click 'Request to join this profile's Trusted List', it says...

Ann Elizabeth Chambers is not an active user.
No recipients found for Invitation to Person page.

Where is there to go from here?

Hey Kelly,

Click on the tab for Family Tree & Tools.  Scroll down until you see Open Profile Request.  Click on it and follow the directions for opening it.

You can also find the Open Profile Request from the drop-down Menu, Chambers-500, at the top right of the profile page.
