Who were the parents and wife of John Barlow?

John Barlow is currently shown as the son of Sir Alexander Barlow and Elizabeth Brereton.  This appears to be groundless, and it contradicts a coat of arms granted to a descendant in the 19th century.  "John Barlow's parents are not known from the records," according to http://www.pillpriory.co.uk/pdf/John%20Barlow%2016th%20century.pdf

Does anyone know of any documentation for John Barlow's parentage?  If not, it looks like his parents should be detached.

John's wife's name was Anne.  WikiTree currently shows her surname as Ward, with an extensive ancestry.  Does anyone know of any documentation for Ann's surname and parentage?  If not, it looks like her parents should be deleted and her surname changed to "Unknown."

Yes, early on the creator of that website just added stuff without sources, which he now regrets.  Of course more recently he has been adding great sources, especially for the Magna Carta lineages.  This can be misleading... I guess the general rule is, any website is only as good as its sources.
