Who were the parents of Roger Chandler?

Roger Chandler's WikiTree profile currently shows that he is the son of John Chandler and Jane Gitton of Colchester, Essex.

However, Anderson's The Great Migration Begins, vol. 1, pp. 330-32, doesn't show any parents and gives Roger's origin as Leyden, Holland.

Is there any further information on the origin of Roger Chandler?

Here's a quote: "An LDS Ancestral File entry shows Roger Chandler “of Colchester” born 1580 in Colchester but christened some 20 miles away at Lavenham, Suffolk on 4th April 1580, the son of James Chandler and an unnamed wife or Roger Chandler and Joan Vale."  In other words; it looks like somebody was just guessing; see http://www.edmundchandler.com/Documents/originate.html

John, you know my answer... ;-)

PGM policy: unless newer research exists to say otherwise, create == Disputed Origins == at top, link to disputed parents THERE, and detach them as parents from the immigrant.
