Census March 1 1885.         John Leighton head of house and Wife E.F.Leighton,

Children Listed , Mabell Leighton,Letta Leighton,L. T. Leighton,Likely Leonard T.

Leighton. John Leighton was 49 yrs old when first child born,his wife was 15 yrs

younger so she was 37 when first child born. Kind a late in life,but is does happen.

I grew up with a friend,his mother had her last child when she was 52.So it does

happen.
