Can I subscribe to a specific category?

Question

Say I want to be notified of new G2G posts concerning the euroaristo and mayflower projects along with a couple of surnames and I am not concerned with other posts. Is there a way to subscribe to just those posts?

You can subscribe to RSS feeds of categories and tags. So if you're using Google Reader or another feed reader, just add the RSS feed. Go to the tag page you're interested in, and the link to the feed will be on the right sidebar, a little way down.
