Looking for information on William and Matilda (nee Johnson) Godfrey, who emmigrated to Canada (Fort William, Ontario, now Thunder Bay, Ontario) in 1910 with their children William, Fred, Queenie and infant daughter Florence. They went on to have Gertrude, Marjorie and Sydney (my Father).

I beleive my Grandfather was from Markyate and my Grandmother from South Mimms (Mymms). I have information on the Johnson side, but little on the Godfrey family.

On arriving in Canada, my Grandfather started farming, so he may have had a similar background in England. he may have had sisters or brothers who arrived in Fort William or Port Arthur (now the city of Thunder Bay) either before or after him.
