Well, I was trying to merge on Bahrain Adams into Adams-5908, but did 5809 instead, so I messed up on accident Frederick H. Adams page. Help

Still working at it Dakota.  I just had to pause to say I don't think this was your fault at all.... those particular numbers involved are the most confusing sets of digits I ever worked with, like a tounge-twister for my eyes.  I've transposed them several times trying to write them down on my notepad.  We'll get it fixed!

First, would you please use the "edit option" and add the tags "Leaders" and "Arborists"?  They might be your best help and tagging it brings it to their attention.

I think this is what happened.  Does it sound right to you?......

4:49 you created Ephraim Adams-19437 as the father of Levi Adams.

4:50 you created Sarah Garner as the wife of Ephraim.

10:48 you adopted Ephraim Adams 5908 (was a match for your Ephraim)

10:51 you tried to merge them together, 19437 + 5908 but accidently transposed the numbers and entered 5098, then they were combined. (it probably looked very confusing all of a sudden)

11:02 the new combined Ephraim Adams-5098 was then merged with Ephraim Adams-5908.

Now there is no 19437 or 5908, but instead all 3 are now Ephraim Adams-5098.

The good news is that the original merge you wished was completed.  The bad news is that whoever Adams-5098 is has vanished.  Unfortunately the Profile Manager is no longer a member and cannot be contacted as normal.

I think you should contact Admin WikiTree.  The link is on her profile.

Please let me know how it turns out.  They respond quickly and are very helpfull!
