Are you interested in creating profiles?

I've created a page for the Neelsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Germantown, Maryland, and the list of interments includes about 300 people.  If you are interested in creating profiles from the tombstone transcriptions, please feel free to help with this cemetery.  I have the photos, so I can attach them to your profiles later.

I love this kind of work. I have over 200 profiles on "findagrave.com" if I can help let me know.

Hi Brett,

If you would be interested in creating profiles for this cemetery, you are welcome to use the data that I transribed from the tombstone photos that I took.  The transcriptions are listed on the Neelsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery page.  We do not copy information or photos from Find A Grave, which would be copying someone else's work, but you are welcome to add any information from your own research.

I am trying to join the US cemeteries project. Just wrote to Tom Shaw earlier today. I'd be happy to help add profiles, but will I have to be the manager of them too? Not sure I want to take them on as manager. I already have about 730 profiles I have added (33 were adopted), and still have more to do in my line with cousins, uncles etc.

I see from your profile that you've been awarded the Cemeterist badge, so welcome to the project!  You do not need to be the manager of all the profiles you add. The system will automatically make you the profile manager when you create the profile, but you can remove yourself as the manager.  Check the Profile Managers page and read the section at What if you want to reduce your management responsibility?

Thanks for the information, Star.  I photographed 50 graves today, so I need to get started with those, but I will certainly help you with yours too.

A big "THANK YOU!" to Kirsty Ward and Carolyn Martin for creating a lot of profiles for the residents of this cemetery.  There are still quite a few people in this cemetery who need profiles, if anyone is interested.
