There are at least 400 men named Frank H Smith. Is there any info on the cup to help narrow the search? A year, a country, county and or city could be useful to track down which Frank H Smith it was given to.

There's a Frank Holmes Smith (1885-1949) on WikiTree. He's also on Ancestry.com (the only one there). You'll find him at: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Smith-51235.
