I am pleased to present this week's winner from the great state of Massachusetts

Caleb Strong, Governor of Massachusetts

(clapping and cheering)

Wow, while the weekend was going on Chris Hoyt, jumped right in and began improving this profile. There's a bio in place. Can you add to Caleb's profile?

Caleb, has parents, with profiles that could use some refining. Does he have more siblings?

He has children who need profiles.

Are there some more pictures? And can someone come up with a great background?

As always: When you start to work on something post an ANSWER here. This is to prevent duplication of effort and keep the post on the front page of the G2G forum.

I added a couple of small links in the biography directly to his parents and spouse. Nothing major, but figured I'd get a small contribution in.
Thank you Scott

I went to Family Search and pulled all the applicable sources. There were more than I expected. They probably need to be reorganized - I'll try to get to that later today.

I also noticed that the date for his birth in the profile was incorrect - it was his christening date that was listed. I have corrected that.

There were a couple of sources I attached that I can't confirm - if someone has access to them, maybe they can check them out. Otherwise, I'll have to wait till I can get to a library to look them over (1800 and 1810 census).

OK - sources are sorted out and formatted. If someone wants to pull them into "Ref" codes, please feel free. I know everyone kind of has their method of documenting sources, so hopefully I've made it easy on whomever chooses to improve that portion.

It was interesting that his first girl child Sarah (who died young) is documented incorrectly as having a birth record on the date of her death, but that's the way it's indexed, so I left it alone. I'm sure it's a mistake as there's also a death record for the same day. It seems unlikely that they had another Sarah, born on the day of their child's death, who vanished into history with only an odd reference like that.
Thank you Scott.
My name is Sherri Ellen (Crowley) Wolf. My Grandmothers name was Mary Edith Strong Crowley Shnepel. . Caleb Strong has been traced in my geneology (sp)  as a distant Uncle. As has Ralph Waldo Emerson,  My Great Grandmother was an Emerson, who married a Strong. I was born in Concord , Massachussetts, and my Grandmother resided in Stow, until her death. The Loomis name led to the Strong family from what I can decipher.
Hello Sherri, I hope you found the profile for your "Uncle" Caleb usefull.

I added another child and inline sourcing.

Can someone/s add more of his children and his siblings?  Dates and/or Sources are already existent on the profiles of Caleb and his father, so it's really create and source with what's already there.
