Slight difference in Moses' wife surname spelling ?

Question

I'm showing the wife of Moses Williamson as a JANE MILES 1726-1797 ) rather than Jane Mills.   My source is:    The Williamson Family of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania Washington County, Pennsylvania and Ohio County, West Virginia by Raymond Martin Bell and Edna Marian Miller, Washington, PA (1986 and 1989).  A copy is in Mercer County Historical Society Library, Mercer, PA .

Raymond Martin Belll, now deceased, was a professor at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA.    I do NOT descend from Moses Williamson, I descend  from his brother, Samuel.  I just thought I'd mention the SLIGHT difference in data and my source. I cannot say if your source is better.  Best wishes

David,   This is a perfect teaching moment for many of us.   The profile cited has a profile manager that has not made a contribution in almost 18 months.   The chance that he will see this post and do something about this information is probably slim.  

While this post is the perfect place for the discussion, I am pretty sure that the profile manager will not engage in the discussion.  Adding the source to the profile and adding the additional alternate name to the profile will help others who come across this profile in the future.   As this profile is in the family of David, he could pursue an unresponsive manager request and eventually become the profile manager of the profile and change the profile based on the sources that he has found.
