What is the correct way to add a source link when uploading a photo?

When I uploaded the image, it asked for the web link of the photo. I typed in the correct link. Now, when I look at the image, the comment shows a bad link.

I tried to edit it, to make it correct, but it keeps reverting to a bad link.

I see why the error occurs but I don't know how to correct it. When you post the correct URL in the comment box and click on "Save Comment", the WikiTree software changes all instances of (=) to (''').

Thanks. That solved the problem. Is there an explanation as to why this works? Is the = the only character with this problem?

Hi Rick, sorry for calling you Evelyn blush

As far as I'm aware it is only the equals sign that causes this issue. It only occurs in input into comment boxes so I guess it's to do with validating the input for spam?
