Looking for Lillian Mae Preston

Question

Lillian Mae Morrill married Harold Preston in Connecticut in August of 1940 at a Methodist church in the New London area. Family legend has it that Lillian later abandoned Harold leaving him and four children behind. Her whereabouts where never known. It was suspected that she ran off with a lover or may have just decided she had enough of married life and left. One of her children was fathered by an unknown man of either Polynesian or Phillipene descent (an affair that Lillian had while married) That child's name was Kathy and she carried the last name of Preston despite her paternity. Kathy was very young when her mother abandoned her and her siblings, around the age of 3 or 4. I am looking for any info on Lillian. I am able to find records that cross reference her as Harold's wife but nothing on her as an individual. She would be my maternal grandmother.

Hello, I have many answers for you regarding the Morrill Family.  I can tell you that it is no legend that your grandmother disappeared in Baltimore some years ago, as my grandmother confirmed this story when I was a child.  You and I both have the same great-great grandparents and I have done extensive research into the Morrill Family, including photos if you are interested.  Please feel free to contact me any time.

THanks for your efforts but this can't be her. She was born in (about) 1923. She married Harold Preston in 1940
