A Big Challenge to Get as Many Reunion Attendees Connected as Possible!

Hi Everyone!

AJ's big Reunion is right around the corner and coming up fast. Ticket buyers who don't know how they're connected to AJ yet have been sending in information, and volunteer researchers have been building out trees for them, which then get uploaded to WikiTree. Some of those trees connect right away, but others still need connected so those cousins count towards our hopes of breaking the record for the biggest family reunion. That's where we need you!

We have a prize package for the person who connects the most cousins from our Unconnected Gedcom category before June 6th. The prize is a copy of our Global Family Reunion Cookbook, a ticket to the Reunion, and a copy of AJ's book once it's published, and to put some icing on top, the books will be signed by AJ.

Here's how to participate:

* Choose someone from the category: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:GFR_Unconnected_Gedcoms

* Report back here and let us know what you're working on so we aren't doubling up efforts.

* Tell us when you make the connection!

We'll be adding more people to work on to the category, but there's a nice selection to get you started. Feel free to ask questions here.

I've entered over 80 profiles now in Quincy, Florida, plus 20 more in the less specific Gadsden County. There's gotta be a connection in here somewhere! I guess with the brute force approach our new cousin will have a nice, big tree when she finallly does connect...

Oh, Karen, I've been there! Have you stepped back and gone back to the beginning again? Sometimes it helps. I have yet to have a connection in Florida, interestingly. I, too, have added a ton of profiles for the GFR there and always have to get out of the state to get anywhere :-)
