Downloading the same Images. How Do I change the Titles

I sincerly hope that I will be able to make myself clear. My eyesight is very poor and I can't read what I am typing . Please bear with the spelling mistakes. Thanks

I have a problem . Please help me:

When I download immages (Baptismal, marriage and Death notices) I encounter the problem that I am prompt  to use a immage from another profile . Ie: The image has been downloaded before.

If I Go to people and things  Enter the Id from Profile A to the space the photo shows on the Profile of A……  BUT

If I do this (Which make sence) I end up with an image on Profile A  with the Titel of Profile  B.

Is it possible to change the  Title information   for  Profil A ?

I would like Profile A to state “Baptismal record of A.”    Not    “ Batismal Record of B”

Hope my explanation is understood. And sincerly hope someone   will be able to help me. If this is a stpid Q Sorry but not asking is worse than staying uninformed :-) That was my best english so don't giggle!!!  :-)))

Regards and thanks .

Ronel I understand what you mean but unfortuently there is only a few options

1 is to rename the image to something like Baptismal records for Name family ie  Olivier Family

2 is to rename the image each time before you upload it and use the titles like

“Baptismal record of A.”     “ Batismal Record of B” etc

I get it. I generally name mine to cover both.

So if the mausoleum stone is for Bob and Sally Stone, I don't make the title just "Bob Stone", but I call it "Mausoleum Stone of Bob and Sally Stone"

I think you could do the same for these records. "Baptismal records for Billy Stone, Parents Bob and Sally Stone" - it might be too long, but I'd give it a try.
And Jacky is correct - you could also upload the picture twice - once for each profile with a different name for each one. It's an inefficient solution, but it would solve the problem you are running into.
Thank you  very much  Scott  and Jacky

Wow so glad someone understood my rablings and my poor english

I will settle for the latter Uplouding records more than once. As there are no cure for this problem.

I am uplouding the baptismal records for every child in the records From 1696 to 1813. That means at least 6 children per page. All with different surnames . It will take me a while:-)

Not the ideal but we need the LNAB

That seems like a lot of work, and also it uses a great deal of space!

Why don't you create a freespace page for the family, upload the record to that, and then add the children in the record as appearing in the image?  Choose "source" for type.

It will appear on the side of any profile that's listed as appearing in the image, and you can also incorporate it in any profile text if you want.

Or you could upload it to the profile of one of the parents of the family.

An example of an image that applies to a number of family members

In the profile of  [[Church-166| Richard Church of Hadley]]

Hi Patricia Thank you for your input

I have looked at the profile- that is awesome.

Sadly only, if they are all of the same familyname.  My problem is there are no relationship  between the children on the records I am working with

Unfortunatly the records I have a problem with is Baptismal records   Each record wil have the baptismals of several different children,  with different parents. :-()

I will investicate the  freespace and see if I can get any joy. Thanks for the suggestion:-) Have a wonderful weekend
