Hello Leslie,

You do not need to notify Ancestry.com.  You should register at http://v2.gedmatch.com/login1.php and follow GEDmatch's instructions to upload your mother's AncestryDNA resullts there.  Then enter your mother's GEDmatch ID on her DNA Tests page for her profile in WikiTree.  GEDmatch is free.

You should also consider transferring your AncestryDNA results to Family Tree DNA so they can be compared to other Family Finder testers.  That costs $39.

You should then do the same for your brother's AncestryDNA results.

Sincerely, Peter

Hi Leslie, Welcome to WikiTree! Peter's correct. You don't need to notify Ancestry. But if you want to share the information about your mother's and brother's DNA onWikiTree, you will first need to create a profile for each of them on WikiTree. The DNA test information for each person should be entered on his/her own profile.
