Delayed merges with date changes.

Question

There are several merges on my list that need to be completed.  I am not sure how it happened, maybe I messed up the dates, but the merge dates have been changed so the merges won't be completed for another month.  Here are three examples, dates highlighted.

 

1.  Joseph Smith (Smith-59988) and  Joseph Smith (Smith-1807)    compare
Proposed by Kitty Smith.
Someone from Smith-59988's Trusted List needs to approve.  
Approval from Kitty Smith for Smith-1807 has been recorded. 
      If Smith-59988 and Smith-1807 are different people, reject the merge. 
      Arborists and Leaders: If there's been an error, remove the pending merge.

2.  Christopher Smith (Smith-59991) and  Christopher Smith (Smith-2077)    compare
Proposed by Kitty Smith.
Someone from Smith-59991's Trusted List needs to approve.  
Approval from Kitty Smith for Smith-2077 has been recorded. 
      If Smith-59991 and Smith-2077 are different people, reject the merge. 
      Arborists and Leaders: If there's been an error, remove the pending merge.

3.  William Smith (Smith-59994) and  William Smith (Smith-2055)    compare
Proposed by Kitty Smith.
Someone from Smith-59994's Trusted List needs to approve.

      If Smith-59994 and Smith-2055 are different people, reject the merge. 
      Arborists and Leaders: If there's been an error, remove the pending merge.

Do I have to wait another month before I can complete these merges?  They are definitely six profiles for the same three men and must be merged.  Can an arborist complete these merges?  Thanks for any help.  The PM has not responded.

I hate it when that happens...procrastinators makes it harder to get the merges done.

Hi Kitty Aren't you a WikiTree Leader? If you are, one of the privileges and responsibilities is that you can "force" a merge by adopting the 2nd profile and then merging immediately. If you want to know the "mechanics" let me know privately. Chet Snow (Snow-2128)

I have had this happen, also.   It happens when I have accidently approved the merge for a second time....it is like that alone resets the clock.  I would like to have a techie explain it to us.
