Cherokee Indians Tennessee

Question

My great grandparents John E. Brown born abt 1846 in Tennessee and Pollie Ann Mitchell born abt 1848 in Tennessee my grandfather Charles born abt 1872 in Illinois and grandmother born abt 1889 in Missouri . I found one mention of Brown Indians in Tennessee I imagine that some stayed in Tennessee and did not leave until shortly after the Trail 0f Tears pleses advise. They relocated to Cape Girardeau Illinois

Don't think this is my Brown's.  George 1787 was in NC until 1822 then moved to Union County, IL, which is across theriver from Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
