Looking for relations to my grandparents Jane A Davison who married a Thomas Oliver, Hexham early 1900s

Question

They had 3 children Thomas Curry Oliver, (1916) Wilfred Oliver and Jean Patricia Oliver. They lived in the Hexham area.

Unsure where to go with connective lines as there were quite a few Olivers in the area. Also Davison becomes a bit impossible due to the variations of spelling the surname.

There is heresay in the family that we are related to the Davison suffragette Emily Davison and also to the architect Thomas Oliver and I would like to be able to eliminate/confirm this in order to concentrate on the tree

Hi Amanda,

I'm a descendant of Jane Davison's brother, Thomas Pratt Davison. I've got as far back on the Davison side as I can and have found nothing about Emily Davison. I believe you've been in touch with my mum's cousin Anne. I have some photos of Thomas Pratt Davison and of the Oliver children, who were my Gran's cousins. I also am pretty sure that I have a photo of Thomas & Jane's mother. Let me know if you're interested in copies.
