Is there a way to highlight links in the new G2G editor?

I often show a link in my G2G questions and try to clean them up so they are neat.

The new editor, the one being used here, supports adding links, using the paper clip icon, but the link does not display in blue as is often true for links.

Example: Template:Image is a live link, it shows in blue in edit mode, but goes to black and is not underlined in display mode.

I have also noticed a lack of distinguishing markings for items that have links. As a work around you could change the font color or background color, but I think they should put it back the way it was. Not the whole thing just the link highlights.
I do NOT think they should put it back the way it was because that, too, had colors that did not have sufficient contrast to be ergonomically correct.  I am in full accord with the notion that the colors now are terrible ... maybe if the powers that be decide to make a change, this time they'lll do it right instead of returning to a less than adequate palette, even though it was better than the current one!

Philip,

Chris posted a question asking for feedback on the new software.  Please look at the last answer there now - it treats this topic thoroughly.
