Jeff, since WikiTree changed the G2G software a few days ago, people who are not members no longer always have "anonymous" showing as their name. Now, people who are not logged in have the option of entering anything they want for their names. If they don't enter anything, they will still show up as "anonymous".
When you see a name on a post now, if you hover your mouse over that name and look at the lower left corner of your browser, you will see their WikiTree ID if they are a logged in member. If they are not a logged in member then you will see their IP address. That is the only way you can tell!
Based on the fact that david ashbrook has an IP address instead of a WikiTree ID, I would assume that he is not a member and, therefore not eligible to be added to a trusted list - life sure is getting more and more complicated here, isn't it???
