I have a question about Col. George Stone?

My mom told me I have a famous Confederate General in my lineage named George Stone. I have been researching him all night and haven't found nothing but pretty much his birth, the place and his death, his parents, a little bit about him but not much.If you could find out more, that would be very helpful. he's got a ton of articles about him.

The best way to get started is to create the profiles for your grandparents, then parents of your grandparent that is related to Colonel Stone, etc.  That way you'll be sure you're not mixing-up the wrong family.  It's not so difficult and here is a free link at Family Search to get you started.  https://familysearch.org/search

I believe you are talking about my grandfather Colonel autie Stone .There are still some of his children living my grandmother was a Hart Stone
