Samuel Bagley married Sarah Barnes 10 Jun 1820 in Maine.

David Marden Bagley was born about 1825 East Machias, Maine. Parents were Samuel A., Gagley and Sarah Barnes. David died in East Machias, Maine 6 Jun 1892. A second entry for what could be the same person is David Bagley, born 2 Apr 1824 at Maine. Parents are Samul. and Sarah Bagley.

This might be Daniel Webster Bagley, but his birth day and month is at variance with your post, but the year is the same, 8 Feb 1843 at East Machias, Maine. He died in Eau Claire, WI  on 5 Sep 1904. His wife was named Bridget, his parents were Samuel and Sarah Bagley.

There was a Samuel Bagley who was born in New Hampshire est. year 1794, who was living in Malta, DeKalb, IL at the time of the 1880 US Census at 86y old. His daughter, Lenora who was 42y old was born in New York.

Samuel says he was born in Maine on every census he was noted in.  So what is with the birth being in New Hampshire??  Maybe his children wrote Maine or his wife Sarah or he did not want to be identified with where he was from due to war of 1812  I just do not know the answer to this.   I shall try to find Samuel Webster Bagleys wife Bridget who died in Eau Clare Wisconsin.  Jeanne   6/28/2013

I do not think this is my Samuel Bagley as he was in East Machias and married to Sarah Barnes. He had no children named Lenora born in 1838   Also his wife Sarah outlived him and she was living with her son David Marden Bagley in Maine. Thanks Frank anyways.
