Have this chap living in Benson, ND, USA & hope someone can check him out on the actual census.   I found him on Family Search, but not a lot of information there.

Privacy is not an issue with these profiles.  Was trying to return them the way there were tho I didn't  (don't) fully understand the privacy rules.  Still don't as in Scotland most things don't follow these rules except for not publishing anything about people who are living.  My humblest apologies.  Have put all the family members of Underwoods (I think) as open.  The last I heard they had two youngest children living but figure they would have to be over 100 yrs old or in their late 90's.  DO NOT KNOW THEM so will change the children back to slightly protected when you are done looking at them or at least those at 100 yrs.  DID NOT REALIZE that you couldn't give me information on those profiles with them protected so now have one more thing to consider when asking for help - the privacy level.  Never gave it a thought before!  Sorry about all this trouble.
Lauraine, I love the education in international law (or at least international customs) that I get every day on Wikitree!  Some of my FB friends live in Scotland and its so interesting to compare notes. (I kept my mouth tightly sealed last year during the referendum, and still do about all things political. )
OK, I'm on it!
I don't know the International Laws of Scotland but noticed most things like births etc. are readily available.  Even the current ones.  However, it appears that unless you are into genealogy, not much is printed about those still living & most people don't publish anything about living people.  My cousin is an author & wanted to publish his name, but will have to wait until he dies to do so on WikiTree.
Than you so much.  Am wondering if you missed a page of the 1915 Census page - (on the following page)???  Am sure there are other children listed on it, but can't really read it.
I don't find the 1900 census for this family.  I found the 1900 for Ursula and John and the child John William isn't on it.  I don't see anything about this family in Ohio.  I think any connection to Ohio is a coincidental name.  Is there proof that George Underwood is a child of this family?  Where was he for the 1910 census?  He should have been with the family at 16?  About the mother, I don't see any proof of her LNAB other than the marriage record of a son that is likely not her son.  She is always Jessie on the censuses not Jennie, not once. I posted on the bottom of her profile what I think is her birth record.  This matches her parents being born in New York and Pennsylvania just like on the census records.

It's possible that George is a son of John William but not of Jessie.  This would explain why he isn't on the 1910 census, he could be living with the first wife.  A marriage record of John William Underwood and the 1900 census would answer most questions.

My opinion would be that George Underwood is not of this family and this Jennie Hughes is incorrect as well.  Ursula, Wilma, and Wilda being on the censuses are proof that it is the correct family but ....

I would say they moved to California where Jessie died in 1925. John William died there in 1946, the California death record has his parent's LNABs on it.  They had a son Kenneth that married in California as well as further proof.
Am sure this is the family & that they moved to Bottineau County in North Dakota.  Ursala is shown there as the mother along with her husband John & their son William??  Am really getting confused now.  Not sure but seem to remember her mother visiting her many years ago?  Unfortunately lost that information so unsure of where I received it.
If you look at the 1920 Census you will see Ursula shown as the mother & William on the same census.  Will try to find the information on his father's military service.  Another thing that was lost.
Lauraine, it's OK.  Just the Jennie is probably Jessie Crane.  And there isn't proof that George is a son.  Everything else looks good.  I posted the 1870, 1880. 1910,1915,1920,1925 censuses you saw right?  Also, the Find a Graves and the California Death record is likely them as well.
I saw everything you posted.  Thank you so much.  Still going through the stuff & tend to agree with you about George.  Was not sure he belonged.  Wonder if John William had a previous marriage?  Ha ha - still trying to find his father's marriage as well.
