Do you know the ancestors of Thos (1815) and Eliza Jones (1832) ?

They lived in Lincoln Kentucky in 1860. Children(?) Wm, Haywood, Harrison, Elizabeth. Moved to Illinois, 1870, born Alice and Chas. Harrison married Catherine Schonert in Illinois and had 4 children one died.

It would be great if we are related.  I try not to get my hopes up though with the Jones surname.  My Jones line goes back to John H. Jones, who was born somewhere in Virginia in 1806.  I have struggled to find anything on him before that, so I'm afraid that I won't be of much help to you.

I do know that his daughter moved to Alton, Madison, Illinois in the early-1880s, and I have never really understood what took her there, as her siblings lived in Pittsburgh, PA and Ohio.

Also - I have 10 different testers from my Jones line who have done autosomal DNA tests.  Our tests are on Gedmatch if you have done an autosomal DNA test and want to compare.  Let me know.....
