Who is the male born in the 1760's living in 1840's Knox County, IL with Daniel Allen ??

Question

I'm looking at the group of folks in the 1840 Knox County, IL federal census that includes Daniel ALLEN .... maybe the one born 1805 as "head of household" .... but there is also a 70-80 year old male living in that household as well ... do we know who that is ???    Likely his father or father-in-law I'd assume ?

Knox Illinois.There is a lengthy Bio on him.His wife was Mary Allen Waity

1786-1830.This could be Daniel Allen parents.In the right place.
