Hello- newcomer here.

Question

Hi, my name is Janet and I am new to Wiki. I am currently trying to document my Father's ancestors. His name was Edgar Hampton Gibson, Jr. (1918-1988) His Father was, of course E.H.Gibson, Sr. (1898-1979). His (my Fathers) Grandfather was Robert Lee Gibson (1877-?) "Daddy Lee's Father was William (1840-1931) and his Grandfather was James Ewing Gibson. They came from Va. To Eastern Ky. to Michigan. I am trying to find out more about William and James E. Can anyone help?  Thanks.

He was a justice of the peace and died from "aortic insufficiency." He was widowed at his death. Buried at Ashland Cemetery. Informant was Mrs. John Tierney.

Thank you very much. Can you give me any information on siblings or his Father James Ewing Gibson?  I know he was born in Va. And was a Senator from the 37th District from the yrs of 1861-1865. He moved to KY. but went back to VA at the start of the Civil War.  His spouse was Pamella (Pamelia) Britton also from VA. I am currently trying to follow the Gibson side primarily.  Thank you again J.Gibson White
