Was Argotta married to Quintus Taras

Many of the genealogies of the early Frankish rulers are made up of a mixture of some poorly sourced historical characters with mythical characters invented to fill in various gaps in the genealogy.

Argotta or Argote seems to be one of these mythical characters, and in fact wasn't named as the wife of Pharamond and mother of several children, including possibly Chlodio until 1801.  There is no early source that names her.

Any relationship with Quintus Taras (if he even existed) would also presumably be a fabrication.

The profile is project protected which, in my opinion, should not happen to people whose existence cannot be proven - unless we come up with a Mythical Ancestors Project.

Thanks Helmut, the profile is in the EuroAristo prior to 742 sub-project but, I have been wondering lately about the value of having these mythical/disputed existence profiles in the EuroAristo project.

Maybe the project should focus only on profiles which can actually be connected in a sourced way to solid family trees leading to today? I am thinking the Magna Carta project is so effective because it focuses on being a certified quality check for solid lines. It really helps Wikitree to have such reference lines.
