Hi ,

Already searching for them , here are the records for Kampen (lidmaten/churchmembers)  quite a lot so might take a while :P

Here's a baptism: Doopinschrijving Margreta Coorts, 1628-11-16 , as I look at her marriages , maybe her birth in 1628 is not that strange ? The scan is there as well , the father is named Coort Claeszen the mother isn't mentioned here ..

Thank you very much Bea :)

Your welcome Susanna and here is the Kampen Archive with a searchengine, also noticed this online genealogy where they say Margaretha and Johannes were from Noordhorn , Groningen ? So, just in case,  checking the Groningen archive as well. ;)

Thanks :) but not 100% sure it's her though, I'm still searching for husband and child, but no luck so far . No LNAB Coetse(e) Couche Koets(e)e , so must have had a patronymic as well.
I did some research on my own regarding the LNAB......

it can be Coerten, Cogh and even Coolhaas, Corleis

Yes I guess the Coorts could later have turned in to Coetse (Coorts , maybe it was Coert(s) and just written wrong ? From Coorts/ Coerts to Coets(e) seems to be a very small step (and maybe meaning he used the name of his grandfather for Last name or his mothers patronymic) It could very well be during a French period the name was ''Franchized'', so people all were just searching for someone named Couche ?  Well I will look for some more tonight :) And of course the name Coetse(e) or Coetzee could have come from the place Coetzenburg (Coetsenburgh) in South Africa ?

According this source, these are two seperate families , so the parents for Dirck Coetsee and the parents for the  Swart children are different people, it says here there are two Margreta or Margaretha's .

So according this, this Margreta (who possibly was named  Margreta Coorts) was just married once and only to the father of Dirck Coetsee and a different Margaretha, who was born later as well , married Johannes Jansz Swart .
