Looking for information on William John Norris and Annie Norris (nee James), parents of my great grandfather, William John Norris born 20th September 1889 in Devonshire and passed away 17th July 1967.

William John Norris born April 30, 1853 married and Hedmere near York June 7, 1879 to Hanna Walker born March 26, 1859.

They moved to Cherrywood Ontario Canada around 1880.  My grandfather was their first son, Watson, born Feb 6, 1880 in England.  If I remember correctly he said he was 2 years old when they moved to Canada.

I Think his parents were.

William Norris born Sept 21, 1807, died March 14, 1894 and his widow Ann died March 14, 1894 resided at Aike England (near York).

I am just wondering if they are my great grandparents.

My grandfather, Willian John Norris (Jnr) is the son of William John Norris (Snr) and Annie James. He was born  in Devonshire, England on 20 Sep 1889. He migrated to Australia and later on settled in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

I was just wondering if there is a connection between both  William Norris born Sept 21, 1807 and Willian John Norris (Jnr) born 20 Sept 1889. Could they possibly be father and son?
