hi im Lee Russell and now live in New Zealand, my fathers side of the family is difficult to trace as my father has passed away and he was an only child...i have traced as far back as my great grandfather Mr William James Russell of Cullen, Banffshire, scotland 1876...i cannot seem to get back further at this time. On my mothers side, she came from Southampton in the uk and her maiden name was Riggs, there are numerous Riggs as she came from a dockers family with 13 siblings, some of whom went to australia and i ended up in New Zealand. My maiden name is Judith Riggs and my ancestry dna tested out that I am 53% British. Maybe we are distant cousins! The Riggs side of my family came from England and settled in Bertha, Minnesota, where some still remain.
