John Lowe abt. 1789

Question

I have been working my family for years and have yet to unravel the Lowe line. Going back to Virginia. John Lowe b. 1789 m. Rebecca Lowe 1817 Kanawha, Virginia. Only 2 people have discovered the link. One was years ago. They burned everything. The other deleted it all now that we have computers. Wonder what was so horrible that they would do it. So I struggle to find answers. John Lowe m. Rebecca Lowe in Kanawha, VA. 1817. Daniel Lowe son b. 1831 in VA. They then moved via ohia and Wabash river to Crawford County, Hutsonville, IL. They arrived there and hutsonville history says in 1834 John "Ol Jacky " Lowe with his Bachlor brother Benjamin Lowe b. 1804 came with him. they were one of the early settlers.

A John Low who was born in 1789 in Aberdeen, Scotland, Died At Grenwich, VA in 1859. Tombstone difficult to read.
