Im trying to verify Walter Harris' homestead because I moved into 239 Ocean Ave., New London, CT

Question

I have an article written in the Thamesana, Mitchell College's newspaper that puts W. Harris at the time of the American Revolution.  I also have a monograph from the Connecticur Historical Commission (#281) indicating Lydia Harris was married to Rufus Gardner, whose son, Douglass rebuilt the structure ca 1870 for sntimental reasons after the family farmhouse burned down.

While this note indicates the address as 239 Ocean, I'm curious about the original owner, Walter Harris.    I have seen references to his being born in Dorset, England at various dates, but his death seems to be consistently dated in 1654.
